About us
North Huish is run by The Churches Conservation Trust and it hosts special services at Rogation, Armistice Day and a Candlelight Christmas Carol Service. Music Concerts and other events are organised to raise fund for the Church upkeep through the Churches Conservation Trust and local volunteers.

Our very popular Carol Service is enjoyed by folk from all around the South Hams. Lit by candlelight and supported by our church choirs and North Huish Handbell Ringers.

The village is a rural hamlet with a church it is close to the village of Avonwick which has a shop, a pub, a church and a garage.

St Mary, North Huish
The Churches Conservation Trust looks after the church and maintains the building. Diptford PCC takes care of the Churchyard.

A stone-spired landmark This beautiful fifteenth-century, stone-spired church is a landmark in a fold in the hills just below Dartmoor and it has wonderful views to the south.
